When a much-loved band is getting ready to drop its latest album, only the most inventive, innovative and genuinely engaging marketing will do. For the launch of Arcade Fire’s newest release, “Everything Now,” Sony Music approached playworkgroup to develop a suite of launch concepts to build awareness, whet audience appetite and drive home the album’s thematic content in bold, compelling ways.
After assembling our team of music obsessives and Arcade Fire fans, we fused the favorite music experiences in our collective memory with cutting edge technology, experiential activations and new cultural paradigms, delivering recommendations to live across platforms (from social media to guerrilla marketing) and integrate with the band’s own outreach activities.
