NOS TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Portuguese telecommunications company NOS tapped playworkgroup to strategize an inspired, inspiring concept for a two-minute ad spot, with the goal of increasing brand awareness and establishing a new visual identity. Tasked with creating a campaign that would capture the customers’ aspirational values while representing the boundless nature of NOS’ technology, we invented a fantastical visual journey embodying the imagination and immensity of the internet itself, stopping along the way at a Marie Antoinette garden party, a French nouveau cabaret, a traditional carnivale, and a contemporary street-mob dance extravaganza. From conducting comprehensive research to unearth a treasure trove of unexpected references, to developing and delivering mood boards to inform creative execution, to directing the selection of a poignant musical piece (“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen), our team imagined and helped bring to life a digitally driven dream-world as unique, adventurous and limitless as NOS.
